Gay and Lesbian scene worldwide has really developed over the last five years, and the homophobic attitudes of old are slowly evaporating. The Gay scene in London is quite staggering. It really is a community, with gay restaurants, gay barbers,gay pubs etc.

London attracts a huge, diverse crowd from all over the world. All of the gay bars and pubs transform themselves as the LGBT community works hard to promote equality and diversity through various campaigns.

Rupert street-Located in the heart of London's gay village, Rupert Street is a relaxing gay bar for all ages. Escape-Playing funky house, Escape is a late-night bar that will have you jamming the night away.

Gay pubs are primarily run and maintained by gays as they would be more sensitive to their needs and requirements.

Barcelona pub is a relatively new addition to the Eixample area. It is a district of Barcelona between the old city and what were once surrounding small towns. The pub is a large but cosy Gay pub that is very popular with the gay community but has an open attitude to anyone and everyone. The best thing about the Barcelona Gay bar is the events, live DJ sessions, exhibitions from new artists and film festivals, all make Sweet café somewhere very funky for your pre-clubbing drinks.

Atame (translates as tie me up) is a smallish, modern, Gay bar/ pub right in the heart of Eixample, This Gay pub gets pretty busy over the weekends. This large bar, Punto Barcelona, is well established in the gay scene and is a good meeting point. It’s pretty funky and has differing exhibitions of new artists. Plus with each drink you buy you get a free ticket to one of the Arena clubs.
