Every state, every country has countless big music concerts on throughout the year, in styles ranging from Heavy Metal to Opera, from Rock to Gospel.

There are several ways to get tickets for these concerts; the black market, queue at TicketMaster or online.

When people want tickets they are increasingly sending one person to queue, while another tries to get through on the phone and a third person is working the Internet ticket agencies to see who succeeds first. The successful applicant phones the others and they walk away from the queue.

Tickets for big name artists are always in short supply. There is often a maximum number of tickets set for each purchase. This is to prevent black market sales. Nevertheless, you can still buy tickets from touts, from EBay and even from the classified ads of the local papers. These are sold by entrepreneurs who have queued or bought them from people who have queued and then sold on at a profit.
