They will often be happy to do so, and you will get two things out of your small investment of giving away some product: you will gain credibility by receiving endorsement from an objective third party, and you will get free advertising when they run the review in their magazine or newspaper. Another way to build credibility as your business grows is to have a good track record over time. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising—as customers are happy with the work you do, they will tell their friends and bring you more business. You need to keep up the good work and produce the very best products and service every single time so that customers never have a reason to be dissatisfied. Over time, your company will come to be known as reliable. Your reputation will give you the credibility to keep your business growing.
